Vrnja\u010dka Banja is the municipality’s economic, political and cultural center with a total of 14 settlements stretching over an area of \u200b\u200babout 240 km2. About 30,000 people live in the municipality, and the Spa itself has about 16,000 inhabitants. Vrnja\u010dka Banja is located in the central part of the Republic of Serbia, at 43 \u00b0 37 \u2032 north latitude and 20 \u00b0 54 \u2032 east longitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Distance of Vrnja\u010dka Banja from the airports: Belgrade – 190km, Ni\u0161 – 120km, Kraljevo – 40km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Belgrade, Vrnja\u010dka Banja can be reached from several directions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Belgrade – Vrnja\u010dka Banja highway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– “Milo\u0161 Veliki” highway to Preljina, via Kraljevo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Belgrade – Bato\u010dina highway, via Kragujevac and Kraljevo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The spa settlement is partly on the gentle slopes of the Go\u010d Mountain towards the West Morava and partly in the gentle valleys of the Vrnja\u010dka and Lipova\u010dka rivers. Depending on the position of certain parts of the settlement, the altitude ranges from 220 to over 300 meters. The spa is sheltered by the Go\u010d Mountain and its arms from the south, east and west, while from the north it is protected by the Gledi\u0107ke Mountain range. The narrower mountain area of \u200b\u200bVrnja\u010dka Banja, including Go\u010d Mountain, is part of the huge forest-mountain complex of Kopaonik, which is the hinterland of Vrnja\u010dka Banja and extends to the south. In addition to Go\u010d (1,147m) and Kopaonik (2,017m), there are also \u017deljin (1,785m), Jastrebac (1,492m) and Stolovi (1,375m) mountains. The entire wider mountain tourist area of \u200b\u200bVrnja\u010dka Banja is furrowed with green valleys accommodating fast-flowing mountain streams and rivers on their way to the West Morava.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
