Sports Center is an organization that manages all main sports facilities in Vrnja\u010dka Banja, the most famous spa in Serbia. Sports Center is also engaged in organizing sports events as well as professional work in the field of sports in the Municipality of Vrnja\u010dka Banja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Vrnja\u010dka Banja” Sports Hall<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sports hall in Vrnja\u010dka Banja is located near the bus station. It was officially opened in May 2008 and is the newest sports facility in Vrnja\u010dka Banja. It aims to complete this destination’s tourist and sports offer and open the doors of Vrnja\u010dka Banja to sports tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hall is a multifunctional facility suitable for sports events, matches, preparations, training, camps, and various cultural and entertainment events. It consists of a 1400 m2 large hall, a small hall for martial arts, a gym, a clinic, four large and four small locker rooms, and a judge and referee locker room. The entire sports equipment is professional “Schelde” equipment, and the hall also has “Donic” table tennis equipment. The hall capacity is 1300 seats. It also has a cafe for refreshments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “Vrnja\u010dka Banja” sports hall hosted a large number of sports and cultural entertainment events that were broadcast live on TV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Vrnjci” Specialized Training Hall<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

“Vrnjci” Specialized Training Hall is located at the entrance to Vrnja\u010dka Banja. It is a training center of the Handball Federation of Serbia with a unique GERFLOR surface, which is also suitable for futsal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Kocka” Small Sports Stadium<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This stadium includes one of the oldest courts in Vrnja\u010dka Banja. It was built in the 1950s as a clay court for handball and basketball, and in the following decades, the courts were paved. It is located in the center of Vrnja\u010dka Banja, right next to the beginning of the Promenade, near “Merkur” special hospital. These courts are an iconic place in the history of Vrnja\u010dka Banja sports. The “Go\u010d” basketball and handball clubs were formed on them. In the previous years, grandstands, locker rooms, and a restaurant for athletes were added. The courts are illuminated by reflector spotlights.<\/p>\n\n\n

Handball tournaments were held at the popular “Kocka,” the most famous of which was the “Trophy of Yugoslavia” participated by our and three foreign national teams. Today, these courts are suitable for workers’ sports games, and during the winter of 2009, a prefabricated skating rink was set up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In September 2015, Kocka got a new appearance, completely renovated grounds with TARTAN surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Football field in Vrnjci<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The football field in Vrnjci, which is located at the entrance to Vrnja\u010dka Banja, only 2 km from the center, is managed by the Sports Center Vrnja\u010dka Banja. It is outfitted with the most modern ground according to European standards, measuring 110 x 69 m.<\/p>\n\n\n

This modern football field will further improve the development of both football and sports tourism in Vrnja\u010dka Banja and is intended to suit the needs of the most demanding clubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Karovi\u0107” Sports Center<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Teniski klub \u201eAS NS” Tennis Club<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Karovi\u0107” Sports Center is located in a beautiful newly built sports complex 2 km from Vrnja\u010dka Banja. All courts are made according to the FIFA 2 standard (measuring 36x18m, 9m in height).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The center has locker rooms, bathrooms, vita bar and parking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Karovi\u0107” Sports Center has four outdoor tennis courts (clay), one outdoor football field with artificial grass and one tennis and football indoor court with artificial grass. It is possible rent courts for tennis and football schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
